If you are an aspiring writer and have a completed manuscript, the easiest way to get it published is to self, publish. The cheapest way to publish for paperbacks is via create space, they have numerous templates for book interiors and book covers, which are all free to use. It costs nothing to publish on create space and they will walk you through the publishing process. Once the interior and cover of your book have been approved, you have the option to upload your book to kindle. You can upload your book to create space in the following formats; PDF, Doc, Docx & RTF. There are a few other formats, but they will be listed when you begin the publishing process. Please note your book cover must be a PDF file for create space. You do have the option to use their cover creator facility. If you just want to publish to kindle only, you will need a jpeg image of your cover and the interior can be in the same format as those required by create space. To publish on kindle, you will need to open an account with kindle direct publishing (kdp). Both methods are free of charge and will suggest both a minimum and maximum price for your book.
