Half Day Closing
Matt and Justin are down on their luck, no money, no job, lives in turmoil.
They decide to take drastic measures and commit a robbery but end up with more than they bargain for. After being wrongly accused of more serious crimes on Crime Watch (a TV programme which highlights recent crimes) they decide to go on the run to clear their names starting a chain reaction leading to all sorts of adventures which change their lives forever.
This is a fast paced novel with humour and violence with a final twist.

The Goat Killer
They train you to be a soldier. A killer. But they don’t train you to be a civilian again. Made redundant, the army failed to prepare him for life on the outside. Nightmares, vivid dreams, and visual flashbacks, from his two tours of Afghanistan, plague him. Mickey was now on Civvy Street, clearly suffering from PTSD. After the incident which left him with head injuries, they said he was ok, that he’d make a full recovery, but they were wrong. He hid the truth, he might have recovered physically, but mentally this bloodthirsty, adrenaline junkie, had big problems and he knew it.

In Sympathy
When soldier Dave Starling makes a promise to his best friend Johnno, who lies injured on the streets of Belfast, little does he realise the problems it will cause. In this story of love, loss and murder, with a few twists along the way, his life is changed forever.

Homeless Free as a Bird
He had no choice. He packed his sleeping bag and tent in his Bergen and hit the streets. For the first time in ages, the pressure had lifted. He’d lost his wife, job and now his house. Becoming homeless was his only option. But Andy wasn’t prepared for the world he was about to walk into. He’d picked the wrong time of year to become another homeless statistic, it was February and freezing. Army veteran Andy Jones had been in worse situations, sleeping rough, what’s new? He’d spent fourteen years in the army, most of the time doing exactly that, no worries bring it on he thought. The only difference this time, he didn’t know when ENDEX was going to be. It wasn’t long before Andy was feeling defeated, alone, exposed and vulnerable. As he prepares for a night sleeping in a stinking urine-drenched doorway, he meets and befriends an old tramp called Tom, who offers to help him to survive amongst the great unwashed by teaching him the art of Trampism. That’s when this dark, hilarious sometimes sad and powerful adventure begins. But all is not what it seems with an unbelievable twist that will leave you spellbound. "Welcome to the Mad House!"

Trench 31
At the outbreak of WW1, three young men answer Kitchener’s call for volunteers, they wave goodbye to their loved ones to set off on what they regard as an adventure. After months of training in Britain, they are sent to the front. The constant threat of artillery bombardment and the randomness of life and death soon dispel any thoughts they had of adventure. Close friendship and a dark sense of humour is the only thing that makes life bearable in the horror they face in the trenches. In memory of Private Bertram Allen Ward, 10th Battalion Sherwood Foresters. Lest we forget.
